Yearling brooch - silver

A completely solid horse brooch which perfectly portrays the muscle tone, movement and energy of a yearling at play. Handmade by George, this piece was first sculpted in the mid 1990s and has stood the test of time as a brooch that looks as fresh now as it did 30 years ago - a heirloom in the making. The pin at the back is metal to make it tough enough to be worn on heavy winter fabrics and thin enough to keep the marking of delicate fabrics to a minimum.
